Hello,

Here is the situation:
1. Newest stable IQFeed Developer 2.3.0.1 installed already
2. Windows XP after fresh restart
3. Attempt to run "News Example" that ships with developer package
(using Start->Programs->IQFeed->News Example)
4. Login page appears ... logs in correctly and THEN....
5. An error dialog appears saying:

"Error: A version of IQ Connect is already running"

Exactly the same problem with ANY OTHER application using IQFeed
including IQFeed's own apps: History, Watch List, etc
as well as 3rd party apps: QuoteTracker, my own app (amibroker).

The only way to get rid of it is to perform FULL WINDOWS RESTART.
And then sometimes one restart helps sometimes not.

This status quo is for more than one year (yes I reported it earlier directly
to IQFeed support).

Hello,

I took IQFeed's own SAMPLE application "HISTORY" that comes with the API.
And selected "DAILY" interval. Then I enter @ER2U4.
Then IQFEED History application displays error message:
"History data currently unavailable".

Note that intraday history works OK for @ER2U4.

The customer of mine complained about problem in my software, IQFeed staff told him that
"it charts OK in DTN.IQ software". But I checked IQFeed HISTORY app and it does not work.
So what is going on? Is DTN.IQ using the same API or does it use better, bug-free API version ????

By the way: speaking about changes in API v2.3.0.1 - did you fix the 100% CPU usage problem occuring after calling RemoveClientApp that I have reported a few months ago ?

Hello,

I think it would be welcomed by everyone to have
WHAT'S NEW (or CHANGE LOG) document in each and every release with version
numbers.

It is very problematic to find out the changes without such a document.
It should be created and maintained directly by the developers (I do this myself for my own product - I have change log open constantly and whenever I change something I write a line or two about the change so every change is documented)
