I would strongly suggest that you work with v4.0, as there were significant imrpovements to the socket and COM processing for lookups. I can recreate the issue you are seeing with invalid symbols on history. (If you request an invalid symbol for history, and then a vaild one, the valid one returns data followed by an "invalid symbol" error message). I have logged that issue as bug #2866. Your 4.0 doesn't work with SOCKS so it's impossible for me to use or support in any manner.

Once we have a resolution for that, we will be releasing. I am hoping to release sometime next week if all goes well, but as you know - we may identify more problems that need to be resolved prior to general release. Jay Froscheiser DTN - Trading Markets
