I know iqconnect.exe has been design to run as a GUI application. Is there any way it could run as a console application as well? We tried to do it...it came back with a error which suggested that it was expecting some arguments...if it does work as a console application, what are the arguments to be passed? Please suggest a work-around if any. This is urgent. Thanks.

IQFeed was not intended to run as a console app. This is the first time anyone has expressed a desire to do so, meaning we have not explored this possibility, so we have no help to give you at this point. It's also designed to be launched by use of the IQ32dll RegisterClientApp call, not by direct call. The next major release of IQFeed is intended to have a standalone mode, we will explore the possibilities of a console operation in that development cycle. There is no date for that release as yet.
