I am using a free trial for iqfeed data flow. I have realized that the data is delayed 10 mins for the electronic data and 30 mins for non-electronic. I am telling this referring to the value of the "delay" field i receive with the update messages so it is not about my internet connection or anything. Is the data for the free trial always delayed or is there anyway that i can get real time data so that i compare the pricing consistency and accuracy before i pay for the product?

You are receiving delayed data if you didn't choose any exchanges during your registration. During the trial, you need to pay exchange fees on many of the exchanges. If you want real time data, you will need to go back to the website to add exchanges. You will also need to fill out the exchange agreements online. You can do all of this at https://www.iqfeed.net/index.cfm?displayaction=data§ion=account&menu=1&signup=exchanges
