jpm -Interested User- Posts: 5 Joined: Dec 13, 2012	Posted: Jan 30, 2013 01:06 PM Msg. 1 of 3 I think that a good feature to implement into the IQ Feed service would be to add more historical data for stock market index and commodity futures. Specifically end of day price data going back to the 1930's, for monthly, weekly and annual charts. CQG, and Bloomberg provide historical data that goes back this far. Why not DTN ?

SPX goes back to 1950. Corn goes back to 1959. Its not out of the question that we could add more, but it wouldn't be a high priority based on all the other things we have in the hopper. We provide a very comprehensive service with deep historical data for the price we charge. If I am not mistaken, CQG is going to run in the $500+ per month range (excluding exchange fees) while Bloomberg is in the $1500 per month range (excluding exchange fees). I used it for 15 years when I was trading at work. Now that I am trading for myself I am using DTN. I think that DTN is a great service keep up the good work. If it is easy to add in more EOD data to the contracts without raising costs then it would make the service even better in my opinion.
