Hi Folks,

If I use the 7 day trial while developing my client is it just a matter of changing my login details when I switch to a live account? I wan't to avoid developing against trial and then having to do major rework to switch to live (I am talking about connecting etc I realise the quotes are delayed etc in trial).

Regards

Mark

Hi Mark and Welcome to IQFeed!

There is no difference between a trial and a subscription (the trial isn't limited in any way). When you go from a trial to a subscription, the only thing that changes is that we charge your credit card. In fact, you can receive real time data during your trial as well (some exchanges don't offer trials and thus you will be charged an exchange fee during your trial). Thus, you can develop during a trial data subscription without issue. Please note that there isn't a trial for the API, so you would be required to pay the $300 annual fee prior to starting.

I had actually used the sevice before and managed to get by without the developer kit. Just takes a bit more time.
