Excel freezes everytime I enter a DDE formula. Let me correct that, it has worked on several occasions, but the significant majority of the time it freezes.

Thoughts?

Hello Ryan,

We have seen repeated issues with Yahoo messenger and Chrome causing interference with DDE communication. If you try shutting down those apps and then starting your links you should be fine. There are other apps that cause issues, but these two are the most common.

If your issues persist, please give us a call and we will be happy to run through a process to determine what app is causing your hardship.

Note: Once the initial links have started updating, you may restart those applications without risk of them interfering.
