Hi - I usually run some options chains with the current/front and the next month showing. This is for 'Equity Options' only; no 'Futures', 'Futures Options' or 'Futures Spreads'.

I'm running current/2.7.0.3 DTNIQ...

Usually works fine. However, this go around, no matter how I configure it, in addition to getting Dec 2010 and Jan 2011, I'm getting leaps stuff; Jan 2012/Jan 2013.

Here's the two ways I've tried to configure the settings for opts chains:

* 'Equity Options', Type = Calls & Puts, Expiration Months = 'Jan', 'Dec', Filters = 'In/Out of the Money' '# of In The money contracts: 3', '# of Out of The Money contracts: 6'. All other values are not selected.

* 'Equity Options', Type = Calls & Puts, Near Months/'# of near months: 3', Filters = 'In/Out of the Money' '# of In The Money contracts: 3', '# of Out of The Money contracts: 6'. All other values are not selected. Note that I did NOT select 'Show Leaps'.

Either approach shows 2012/2013 stuff for Jan. In particular, if using the 'Near Months' selection, it should -only- show near term months.

Appears to me that the Options Chain app is not paying attention to which year, but is just grabbing anything with a 'Jan' in it. If so, this is poor coding and an obvious bug.

Please advise...

Thanks.
