jlp -Interested User- Posts: 45 Joined: Dec 10, 2007	Posted: Mar 30, 2010 12:24 PM Msg. 1 of 5 When I do a HDX command to get X number of bars back in the middle of the day, the last bar is always yesterday and a partial bar for today. How am I supposed to get the current running daily bar data? Thanks JP

How am I supposed to get chart a daily bar in the middle of the day, shouldn't we able to get a partial daily through out the day like any other system? Thanks
DTN_Steve_S -DTN Guru- Posts: 2093 Joined: Nov 21, 2005	Posted: Mar 30, 2010 02:14 PM Msg. 5 of 5 jlp, sorry for the misinformation, our daily history bars are not built until the trading day has ended for a symbol. For some symbols, this means it will be available when we receive a settlement from the exchange. Other symbols, like forex and equities, are available later in the evening. On your charts, do you update these realtime with streaming data? If so, your streaming data has the current day's OHL information.
