May you give me the right commands to enter the cells for @ES#? Many thanks in advance I use IQfeed
DTN_CurtisT -DTN Technical Support- Posts: 323 Joined: Jun 14, 2007	Posted: Jul 15, 2009 07:30 AM Msg. 2 of 2 Hello Dasziel, were you looking to build a Time & Sales Sheet via DDE from IQFeed? If so, the DDE Link will not be able to so since it just provides current Streaming Quote Data from IQFeed into Excel. To run as a Time & Sales within Excel what you would need to do is run a 3rd Party software like, XLQ from http://www.qmatix.com/index.htm, QuoteLink from http://www.quotelink.net, or QCollector from http://www.mechtrading.com/qcollector/dtn/index.htm. These softwares run off of our API IQFeed rather than the DDE Link and will provide Time & Sales within Excel. As far as the Formulas for what you are looking for that will be; =IQLink\|'Symbol!'Field' For Example, for the Last traded Price for @ES# it will be =IQLink\|'@ES#'!Last, you will need to use single quotations around @ES# since it has the @ sign at the front of the symbol and Excel will think of it as a Formula within a Formula without them and will error out. All of the Fields are also available within the Sample DDE Spreadsheet that is installed with IQFeed. It is located under Start, All Programs, IQFeed 4.5.0.3, Sample DDE Spreadsheet. On there it will give you all of the available fields that the DDE Link can use to pull data from IQFeed. If you have any other problems or questions please let us know.
