A couple questions, you have a zip file containing a list of all symbols and I assume all indices. Is there any way to separate the markets and supply them in zip form? My excel will not completely open the file due to its size. I would like to sort it by exchange. Also I see you have fundamental data. Is it possible to include past fundamental data? The zip file I was speaking about is here. http://www.dtniq.com/template.cfm?navgroup=supportlist&urlcode=325&view=1 Thx, jar

We don't have any services that provide historical fundamental data other than NxCore which would provide that as part of the tape service.
We are going to be making changes to our symbol lookup files in the near future and will take into consideration breaking the files up. In the mean time, if you upgrade to Excel 2007 it will support over 1M rows so it can read and manipulate the entire file.

Yea, I heard that about the latest and greatest excel. I was just hoping I wouldn't have to give Bill G. more of my money I think if you zip them in each exchange that would do it. Do you have a date when the changes are going to happen? What changes do you know are going to happen. j

I find having all the options symbols mixed in with the futures causes me the most difficulty in finding symbols. Just separating, futures, stocks, options etc. would be a great improvement.

Hi Geoff,
The next version of DTN IQ will have the search function sorted out by exchange or market section. We're hoping to be able to release it by then end of the month.
