"Boy, probably spent a thousand hours trying to get ******* API to work right. And now two hours to have something running with IQFeed. Hmmm, guess I was pretty stupid to fight rather than switch all this time. And have gotten more customer service from you guys already than total from them… in five years." - Comment from Jim
"I just wanted to say how happy I am with your service. I was able to download the API docs last week and I was able to replicate Interactive Brokers historical bar queries and realtime bar queries over the weekend. That was about one of the fastest integrations that I've ever done and it works perfectly!!!!" - Comment from Jason via Email
"I started a trial a few weeks back before the market went wild. DTN.IQ didn’t miss anything and beat my other provider. I decided to stay with you because of the great service through all the volatility." - Comment from Mike
"With HUGE volume on AAPL and RIMM for 2 days, everyone in a trading room was whining about freezes, crashes and lag with *******, RealTick, TS and Cyber. InvestorRT with IQFeed was rock solid. I mean SOLID!" - Comment from Public IRC Chat
"DTN feed was the only feed that consistently matched Bloomberg feed for BID/ASK data verification work these past years......DTN feed is a must for my supply & demand based trading using Cumulative Delta" - Comment from Public Forum Post
"Just a thank you for the very helpful and prompt assistance and services. You provided me with noticeably superior service in my setup compared to a couple of other options I had looked at." - Comment from John
"I am a hedge fund manager here. It’s funny, I have a Bloomberg terminal and a Bridge feed, but I still like having my DTN feed!" - Comment from Feras
"I used to have *******, but they are way more money for the same thing. I have had no probs with data from DTN since switching over." - Comment from Public Forum Post
"It’s so nice to be working with real professionals!" - Comment from Len
"Interactive Brokers tick data was inconsistent, so I have switched to using DTN exclusively. It is great to no longer have to worry about my datafeed all day long." - Comment from Philippe

Hi,
I am having some series problems with data coming in real time.
It started few days ago and I am unable to tell why,
I have enclosed a sample string below, and a quick inspection will show that this “RCII” stock was priced at 41.23 while a few ticks ago it was around 27.55 a change of 13.68 up.
It goes for few ticks and than goes back to normal.
It happens on most stocks.
I am using Ver. 4.1 in a PC environment using the activeX interface with C# .net.
I am reading live feed of some 490 stocks
As I said, just started few days ago.
Please help.
Thanks in advance
Shimon Dekel

Shimon, I am not sure what has happened here. I am not seeing this data in the history system.

Are you continuing to experience these types of issues or was this an isolated incident?

Just something to add, I was watching premarket data on XMSR this morning with my IQ Feed and Tradestation. The Tradestation feed was reported several ticks that IQ Feed did not....any idea why this might happen? The only thing I could think of is that somehow Tradestation was clearing a trade and not reporting it...but I doubt that's allowed.

Shimon, is it only this symbol you are having problems with or is it all of them?

Is it possible for you to email us your app so that we can try and duplicate this internally? (you can find the developer support email address in the documentation under support channels)

Steve,
It’s more than one symbol and it’s happening every day,
I looked deeper into the problem and found (As seen in my previous post with the actual string) that the problem come from your service on my computer.

Since it’s happening only to me and as I am only concern with my problem, I purchased a new computer and reinstalled everything I need and nothing else.

I have been testing for two days now and it looks OK on the new PC
Thank you all for your help I will let you know if it comes again.
Best regards

I have the same problem as shimon discussed in his post. for example, below is the Q message for DELL. the last price is 52.98, which is clearly wrong. the correct price is around 25.

Q,DELL,F,52.98,27.75,1.099881094,10215641,100,25.8700,25.1500,25.4500,25.4400,19500,2500,,173,0.72,12:07b,,25.1600,25.2300,-0.01,,,,t,N,,,,04/30/2007,,52.98,,,,27.75,0,42.0,-0.391455233,0.,0.,27.82,,0.013590034,120350109.72,14,4,,15155349,AMEX-BSE-CSE-PSE-NMS,,,,,24219,,,25.60,,E,

sometimes, it is very strange that field 4 is messed up. for example,

Q,AKAM,F,0.DELL,-0.08,-0.001785714,3785963,100,45.5600,44.4800,25.5000,25.5100,2600,15800,175,175,1.08,12:36t,,45.2490,44.8000,0.01,,,,t,N,,,,04/30/2007,,0.DELL,,,,-0.08,0,117.9,-0.171742945,-19.21,-19.21,-0.529,,0.024150268,7201485.2,14,4,,8674139,CSE-PSE-NMS,,,,,13060,,,45.1235,,N,

the field 4 has a string "0.DELL", instead of a float. this happens to quite a few symbols. I am watching the 200 stocks. Does anyone else have the same problem?
