I installed IQFeed Developer, BETA version 4.2.0.2 (10/20/2006) and my application stopped working. I reinstalled the previous version and everything is fine.

I did not install the Beta client. is it a requirement to install both the developer and the client for it to work?

It is not recommended to install both. In fact, the installers should unstall the previous version vefore continuing with the isntall.

There should not be any compatability issues in the current beta release. Can you tell us why your app stopped working?

Hi,
Just wondering what's new in this build? is it just fixes or a major change.

Thanks

Hi T,

The beta release has a new diagnostic tool, it will enable us to better trouble shot & diagnose problems with your connection, & data feed.

If I can be any further help, please let me know.

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors but they all have to learn to live in the same box.

Release notes for the Beta IQFeed is available in the Developer area. We post detailed release notes anytime a new version is made available to developers.
