..than i guess i'll just letcha know now whenever i upgrade to it, eh ;-)
happy friday!
..i just noticed the newest release ISN'T specified as WIN2000 (W2K) compatible -- wassat an oversite, or is ver 2.8.0.7 the last one that'll work on said platform???
ahh, sweet!! ..and quik as a bunny the prob is solved --
(i gotta remember to check forums once-inna-while for updates on stuff like that, eh;)
thanks lots, lbfvt!
g'morning! :)
..for some reason, i've noticed ima not getting any futures data since logging-on last nite. ..doesn't matter what i do (re-start dtniq, p.c etc) the usual routines do not rectify the problem, eh! 8( (non-futures data = streaming ok tho)
..my trading platform on another p.c is feeding along just fine, so it seems to me the problem must be.. at your end - any thoughts!?!?
lbfvt!
hmm..
safe-bet = CME but not CME e-minis, and good-chance intraday data there too, than!
?
ima glad knowing something is avail at any rate :)
thanks again! lbfvt
ahh, alright then - just CME proper, or CME-mini too?
history u pulled = intraday and/or daily tho?
thanks again for investigating, yes! lbfvt
hiyas! :)
what can y'all tell us abouts any of the goldman commodity sub-indices (GK.X GN.X GJ.X GX.X GY.X GV.X GP.X) that are listed as CME-FL under INDEX inna symbol guide?
is intraday data avail? are the symbols current/valid?
i just discovered their dtn existence, but can't seem to load anything and wondered..
thanks for any info! lbfvt
alright, so now we know itsa my end, and itsa something new/not seen here before.
before telling me to upgrade versions again ];), is there a way to clear that 'cached routing table' manually, by chance?
after about a good dozen re-takes, the thing finally did kick-in, although much too slowly to convince me everything's alright as before the adventure began.
..we'll see how far along it hobbles along for now, and meanwhile get to work on trying to remember steps to properly upgrade versions, indeed --

good evening, over there!
..hmm, just noticed my connection dropped around 742pm (eastern time)
and now i'm seeing 'failure retrieving ip information' on iqfeed start-up screen -
1st time i've actually ever seen that; just wondering ifn trouble = your end or my end.. somehows?
thanks, eh! lbfvt
oops, right u are - everything looking fine now, indeed!
..s'funny, i thought the currency futures opened more-like 4pm-ish, as of about a-while-ago, but that mighta changed in the meanwhile as well, eh.
thanks for quik reply + sorry 'bout false alarm, lbfvt
..any new feed problems thusfar tonite, perhaps?
me got proper ip + ports, but nothing yet streaming as per usual by now, eh. just checking/figuring out which end might be goofing-off,
thanks for any info! lbfvt
___________________________________ Posted: Dec 17, 2004 04:10 PM We recently switched most of our servers to a new IP address range for our IQ servers. This weekend, we will complete the switchover which will remove support completely for the old IP address ranges.
If you haven't already, please make sure you don't have anything hard coded to the old IP range.
Here are the current IP's and ports needed to properly operate the latest versions of DTN.IQ and IQFeed:
Primary Server Farm IP Range: 66.112.156.x Backup Server Farm IP Range: 66.112.148.x
Ports required to operate: 60,000-60,020 AND 60,050 Edited by DTN_Jay_Froscheiser on May 5, 2009 at 01:57 PM
..interesting; thanks too! :)
..any luck?
just re-checked & still same 4mb file even tho referenced as 7mb file later on page; there was a 7mb there previously, eh ;)?
hiyas! :)
..i just noticed something & wondered:
the latest version of iqsetup2703.exe off the web-page is about 4.3mb even tho a bit further down the page it says it oughta be about 7mb - which it was back a few months ago when i first downloaded it, eh.
does it matter which version of the same file i run now - the original 7mb or this newer 4mb??
thanks 4 clarifying! lbfvt
bump..
hello?
anyone recall any problems with the feed last thurs,
or can i assume it was at my end (tho not usual presentation, eh)
just so's we can keep track of these kinda things..
lbfvt!
hiyas all! :)
looks like the feed froze here around 321pm (eastern), and was just wondering ifn the glitch was from over there.. everything is fine now after re-booting, so this is kinda more of a social-call than complaint, eh ;)
thanks for any clarification - lbfvt!
hiya & thanks for info -
does this one encompass the Metals (cause i don't see other separately inna list):
NYSE LIFFE Futures US $6.00/mo. $6.00/mo.
any handy link to exactly which symbols Metals or Futures encompasses too?
thanks again! lbfvt
hiyas!
..what exactly is the delay on roots @YG & @YI nowadays?
i can't really tell from the datafields cause they're both 24hrs, so figured it'd be easier to just ask ;)
thanks! lbfvt
..holy cow, DIA is huuuuge in size in comparison to the former, eh!?
is there any other replacement for the former, or was it a case of eliminating redundancies or something like that?
lbfvt
change made; thanks again for info - where'd ya find it tho cause i just looked hi/low & couldn't find a thing, eh!?
